This historical building is central to Dublin's and Ireland's heritage, and has been continually updated to create a blend of fascinating industrial tradition with a contemporary edge. The seven floors bring to life the rich heritage of GUINNESS®, telling the stories of its origins at St. James's Gate to its growth as a global brand, known all around the world.

GUINNESS STOREHOUSE is also home to the GUINNESS® Flagship Retail Store. “THE STORE” Located on the ground floor, The Store is home to the largest range of Exclusive Guinness product in the World including everything from barware, to clothing, and even Guinness food. Complete the experience by adding your own message to the famous Guinness Pint Glass with The Store’s personalised engraving service.

Your experience begins by standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises up through the centre of the seven storey building. If full, the giant pint glass atrium would hold 14.3 million pints of GUINNESS®. At the bottom of the glass atrium you will see the 9000 year lease that founder Arthur Guinness signed on the St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin.

Follow the Master Brewer, Fergal Murray as he guides you step by step through the brewing process. Having learned how each pint of GUINNESS® is brewed you will be invited to experience your first sample of GUINNESS® in a Tasting Experience.

When you reach GRAVITY Bar, as many have said, you have truly reached the top of the world. You are invited to sit, relax and enjoy your perfect pint of GUINNESS® while taking in the breath-taking panoramic 360 views of Dublin City and beyond. While there you can truly immerse yourself in the fun, friendly and warm atmosphere of GUINNESS STOREHOUSE, the home of GUINNESS®. Slainte!


By Foot: From Dame Street, outside Trinity College, keep straight ahead, follow the road around passing Christchurch on the right, and leading into Thomas Street. At Crane Street turn left, and at the end of the road turn right onto Market Street. Journey time 20 minutes.

By Bus: Take Bus 123 from O'Connell Street and Dame Street. It runs every 8-10 mins. Journey time 10 minutes. 

By Tram / LUAS: The closest Tram/Luas stop is located at St. James's Hospital. From the Luas stop turn right on to James's Street. At the junction with Echlin Street take a right turn. At the top of the road turn left (opposite Old Harbour Pub). Take the first left on to Market Street. The pedestrian entrance to GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® will be on the left.
